Happy Chinese New Year

I was so busy during this CNY period and I am seriously lack of sleep, thats why my "panda eyes" are coming out. I slept at 4am on the eve, 2am on the 1st, 3am on the 2nd, 1am on the 3rd, 2am on the 4th and 2am last night. Where is my CNY resolution??

But i enjoyed myself cause i had not gone visiting for the past 2 years and i am free to go this year. The luckiest thing is that i am able to see Rony. But with him at home, our craziness had reached another level, by the time we left his place, it was 11.30pm. Which means, we had to forgo da gu's house...haiz

Learn quite a number of new games this CNY.

The first is 3 cards. We will receive 3 cards and add up the total for comparison. Only the last digit is taken. Anyone with 3 picture cards will win, 10 is counted as zero. Rony, being the banker got numerous zero.

The second is Ticket To Ride. Although i was last in the game due to the fact that i don't understand the way it was played, i still enjoyed it. I got Settlers withdrawal syndrome.

The third is In-between. The game was fun and i suppose most people know how to play it. Everyone will contribute a certain sum to the pool Each player will receive 2 cards, ace being 1 and King being 13. You can choose to gamble with a certain or the full amount in the pool. You will receive a card if you decides to gamble. If your card is in between the 2 cards you had, you receive the amount that you gamble from the pool. But if the card you received is outside the range, you will contribute that amount to the pool. The worst is that if the card you receive is the same as either one of the cards you had, you will need to pay double the amount you played to the pool. The peak of the pool was about $100, 9 players each starting with 20cents.

While playing In between last night, it remind us of Guts that we learned last year. Although i did won big last year but i told myself that i won't want to play it again. Guts can get very nasty and relationships can get sour. The pool got too big for me to imagined last year, the peak was around $400plus when there were only 7 of us playing, each starting with 10cents.

The other games that i played was Blackjack and of course MJ. Didn't lose $$ but only won a small amount, can be add on to my Ang Pow$$. Love the CNY goodies, love the big family gathering especially Daddy's side(cause there will always be close to or more than 100 people coming), it's so fun to see everyone. Love my nieces and nephews, they are so cute especially Gen-u, who love to eat and show us his tummy so happily(he's only 2).
