Hat Yai

Just came back from there....i quite like that place but find the trip abit too long for my liking.

There are alot of markets, which i name the market by the railway station, the market to "bu shi", the wet market and the big market. I went to the market countless times until i am abit bored.

But it is relatively safe there(there is police patrolling, how dangerous can it get?), majority of the people are friendly, the food are not bad(they got lots of pig leg and of course tom yum soup, the prawns are big too, the bird nest is good and cheap!!), and lots of stuff for you to shop, but if you are very fashionable, i do not advise you to shop for clothes there as the fashion seems slower than Singapore.

I love my tuk tuk rides, it is so easy and convenient to take the tuk tuk. And of course toiletrieslingerie are much cheaper. wahaha

There also lots of temples for you to visit but i just can't figure why i cry almost non-stop when i light the joss sticks(cause me to be temporary blind).

The last thing not to miss if you are there - go for the traditional thai massage. There is this shop named Oliver(cost 100baht per hour, its good).

The only thing i hate is of course the bus journey...i took 14 hours there and 16 hours back. On the journey back, i discover a family of 7 cockroaches(different size and colours, must be distant relatives lar), make me unable to sleep very well...hate that...and the journey took overnight with the seat so uncomfortable and no tv for me to watch...so boring

I look forward to going there again...hopefully with a shorter trip and by plane...yeah....
