Malacca 8-9 Sep 2012

Just came back from a weekend trip to Malacca with bf and pf.

Oh gosh, I actually gain 2kg!!! 3 of us spent around RM280 on food for this trip on top of a complimentary buffet breakfast!!!

The trip was great, hotel was fantastic, weather was great, queue are pretty much to our favour and the best is great company ♥♥

Love the hotel to the max. Courtyard @ Hereen, would definitely go back and stay again =D

We ate lots of food like chicken rice (twice), satay celup (not so into it), street foods and so on.....

The best is that we really manage to get quite a few wedding stuff settled. Pretty and cheap!

Bf say ok to go back next time, so loving it but its gonna be after the wedding, cause each trip gonna be a fattening trip =p

Was pretty occupied recently but I am so pleased today.


I received the photobook that I designed. The total cost is around $60 including delivery. Think its pretty worth it.


Planned to use it on my wedding day. If I happen to see more of these deals, will get it :)

Virgin Trip to Sentosa with ♥

Bf bought 2 different coupons on all the coupons website for us to enjoy Sentosa.

But he got no time to collect it from the travel agency and got me to collect it. Since he's the one paying, then its ok lor...hehehe

What we got from the 2 coupons:

• 2-way cable car ride to Sentosa (Both of us never take before in sg...quite sua ku, right? hahahaha)
• Free admission to Sentosa
• Free admission to Insect Kingdom and Buttery Park (Super boring!!! Don't pay $$ to go there)
• 1 round of Luge (Its fun!!)
• $10 off Segway eco-adventure round (Its fun but more dangerous, I fell down once)
• 1 round of Skyride (Nice view but I still stick to my flip flop, so scared that it would drop, we put it inside our bag )
• 2 tea set (inclusive of 1 drink and 2 slices of pizza)

Its a fun trip except at the wrong time, he choose to reach there around 11.30pm...super hot lor...but since he pay for everything, I got nothing to complain...hehe

Lost all motivation ~

I am feeling so emo recently and so lost

I suddenly feel that I am so naive, as in I can analyse people so carefully and so well

Feel so cheated

I realise the people at the work are really not that nice, its seems so scary

I miss alot of the good old times when my mentor and evil was so still around

It was so fun and I am so looking forward to work but I seem to lose all steam now

How? I am not looking forward to promotion or fat bonus anymore

Its seems like a far far away dream

I think I really need to reorganise my thoughts :(

Wedding - Big Items confirmed

Finally first part the wedding preparation starts!!

We got a few of the big items settled which is pretty pleasing except that it got me pretty stressed up that i got second thoughts on marrying

Wedding Date

We went a big big round to get the date. The Tong Shu for 2012 was not out yet so we have to seek help from the fortune tellers who do not rely on it. We first walk in randomly in some shop in Fu Lu Shou that can calcalate at a pretty reasonable rate of $50 bucks for 2 dates. But end up, the dates and details are not good at all. So I have to seek help from forum and got another fortune teller to calcalate. His is really detailed and he taught us alot of stuff which is really nice.

With a whole booklet of wedding dates, we need to get the hotel venue.

Banquet Venue

Taking into consideration, we need a pretty large venue for a crowd of 35-40 tables and I wanted a pillar less ballroom. We got a couple of hotels that is pleasing, namely Novotel and Orchard Hotel. But then I will need to share my reception with another wedding couple and all my guest will need to pass by the reception of the other couple. Whereas at Novotel, I have the whole reception to myself. So, we finally settled for Novotel which is pleasing to both bf and me. So we confirmed that our wedding will be at Novotel Singapore!

The wedding date is set on 09 Dec 2012. Save the date, everyone!!

Bridal Studio

I wanted to go overseas to take the wedding photos cause its seems much nicer and everyone else is doing so. But then I didn't want to spend so much on something that I may just look at it every 10 years yet I don't want the typical wedding photos that everyone is having.

JB was a choice as the package is cheaper, if not Vietnam was another choice cause my colleague can intro me a good photographer but the thought of looking for my own gowns seems tiring. Taiwan was another choice since we are planning on a trip next year. Krabi was another choice cause a bridal studio offer it but then all the above choices, the photos don't really look nice to me other than Vietnam.

I put the photographer at a higher place than the gown cause I feel that if the photographer is good, no matter how ugly the gown is, he can make it really pretty. But if the photographer is bad, no matter how pretty the gown is, it just don't look nice on photos.

I came across a photographer advertisement on Her World Brides magazine and went online to check but then the ala-carte service was pretty expensive and gowns was not inclusive. So gave up the idea but I really like the photos alot.

Finally I came across a bridal roadshow in MS which i was super attracted to wedding albums that they show me. Super attracted and i found out that the bridal studio actually partners with the photography studio in the magazine...hehe...heart set, didn't really manage to bargain for too much stuff but was really interested cause of the feel of the photo which bf also like.

So hehehe....all shall be history....

My Bridal studio is set as Z Wedding and the photography studio is Chris Ling Photography....

Hopefully all turns out well.

Shall take a break from the preparation of the wedding cause I got 16 more months

But if anyone got any recommendations for good videographer and photographer at reasonable rates, do tell me!! I need to look for them :D

The Proposal

Its like a long long time ago that he pop the question but i am just too lazy to blog about it.

He pop the question on Singapore Flyer on 04 Jun 2011. I was truly surprised cause I didn't expect it.

I knew he bought the ring cause he brought me along to choose it but then didn't expect him to ask that early.

How it happen was really sweet in a way.

He got his colleague to email me saying that he got 4 tickets to the flyer with meal that he won and he is selling for $50. So I was thinking since bf never been there, why not? And its really a good deal at 50 bucks!

So there I was, dressing up and he pick me up from home. Once we reach, I ask if his colleague had reached and he did the call and say his colleague got stuck in the custom jam and will be late, so we go up first.

There was another HK couple who were with us in the cabin and I was real hungry and the butler was telling us that there will be 4 courses served, namely appetisers, soup, main course and desserts. There was bread on the table, so thinking its cost 50 bucks for 4 tickets, the bread on the table must be the appetisers, I wanted to start eating until bf stopped me! He say the lady had not served yet, so he got the butler to served.

What was served up was a big white plate with a metal cover. I was busy taking photos and refused to open the silver cover cause I was thinking if i remove, i got no place to put the silver cover, so bf have to get the butler to remove it.

At the same time the butler remove the silver cover, bf start singing. The plate is not the appetisers, its actually 2 coasters with the wordings "Will You Marry Me" which bf decorate himself. When I heard that song, I was sooooooo touched that tears start streaming down!! Its the song that i told bf that he need to sing if her proposed. He got the ring out and knee down to pop the question.

The answer is of course yes....hehe

Btw, the HK guy in the cabin actually proposed to his gf too!! But its more awkward for him cause bf pop the question before him....

That whole proposal thingy was not bf initially plan. He wanted to pop the question at my cousin wedding cause we met at a wedding. He wanted to go up stage to sing but then my uncle told him no cause its chong the wedding so he scrapped the plan.

He choose 4 Jun 2011 cause its exactly 2 months before his birthday and I just recover from my illness....still so touched~~

GE 2011

I so wanted to go to WP rally and we really attempt to go there but the traffic was so bad. The carpark at Yishun Stadium was closed to public and all the nearby carparks are all closed to public too and there are tons of Uncle Sam and Aunite Fatimah guarding it with their device.

When we decide to give up, the nearby roads are all filled with cars although both side of the roads have double yellow lines. See how much the WP can attract crowds!!

Maybe I would have the chance to go during the next GE then....

Need some motivation!!

I had been working late nights these days and I just clocked a 70 hours work week!!

I need some motivation, can someone give me what should i look forward to??

I no longer find it as interesting to shop online, no holidays to look forward to especially my recent trip to HK/Macau/Zhuhai seems so disappointing...

JB 1 day trip

Since I am on leave for almost the whole week, bf brought me on a 1day JB trip cause I am suppose to talk non-stop to entertain him.

His car is a weekend car, so we need to clear sg custom by 7am, so imagine, how early I woke up?! Hehe....but its ok, met his friend there and off we went for a dim sum breakfast since most of the shops are not open yet. The dim sum was really very nice, I just love the type of dim sum when people bring the dim sum over and let you choose. Its yummy too!!

But we saw a minor car accident involving a sg car and malaysia car. Pity the sg car people cause although they are the car infront, I don't they will have any compensation from the other car and maybe they will need to compensate them especially the other car got more and more people coming down to help.

After breakfast, off we went to his car sevice centre since his friend need to do servicing and finally off to KIP Market to do the car seat(That's was his main motive for the trip =D)

But my main motive was to buy Tapoica Chips....yummy!!! I bought so much but I even want to buy more but they went out of stock. Don't think will be going there often cause the journey there is very scary. Its like 70km away from sg and although we are traveling on National Highway, it look more like those small road filled with big trucks travelling at high speed.

Anyway, my loot for the day are as follows:

We went Jusco after that since it was still early and yesterday was J card day, means free parking and lots of heavily discounted stuff....but we only brought 1 badminton racket which is quite light and come with free t-shirt and bag, only around SGD$50.

Wanted to buy some Wacoal bras since it was on discount too but all my size are OOS and one of the auntie help me measure my size and she say my cup size was 1 size bigger than what I usually wear and start to pass me the size she say I was.....Its super huge and I strongly believe she measure wrongly....so decided not buy since the fitting room queue was long too.....

Is it a holiday in Malaysia today?? The whole shopping mall was still packed when we left at 10.40pm?!

Anyway, enjoy myself except that I am very tired....
